Desert Adventure with Levi at North Mountain Park

Hi friends,

Some dogs are born for adventure, and Levi is definitely one of them.

For this session, we headed out to beautiful North Mountain Park in Casa Grande, AZ. The light was soft, the desert was glowing, and Levi was ready to explore every rock, trail, and bridge he could find.

We started on the boulders, where Levi showed off his best “mountain goat” skills. With his harness and little hiking boots on, he climbed up like a pro and paused just long enough for me to capture that confident, curious expression. Behind him, the saguaros and rocky hills created the perfect Arizona backdrop.

As the sun dropped lower in the sky, the desert turned warm and golden. Levi struck a few more heroic poses on the rocks, chest out and ears up, taking it all in. I love these moments – when a dog is completely in their element and you can see their personality shine through in every frame.

We finished the session at a rustic wooden bridge tucked under the trees. Levi stood right in the center, looking so small against the open space around him, but still full of that big, brave energy. It was the perfect way to wrap up his adventure – simple, natural, and very “Levi.”

This is exactly why I love my Adventure Tails Sessions. They’re ideal for dogs who love being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up that gorgeous Arizona light. These sessions usually last about 1–2 hours and take place at scenic locations in and around Coolidge, Florence, and Casa Grande.
